The name already reveals something about this beautiful radish: it's elongated (twice as long as its diameter) and pure pink in color. It's a bit conventional (but apt!) to call it a "lady's slipper"... The flesh is bright white. This unusual radish grows easily, just like the round varieties, appreciating some mulch in summer. Its crispness lasts well into autumn.
