Butternut squash is becoming increasingly popular! This early variety yields beautiful fruits with a bulbous belly, very tasty flesh, and a beige-with-green-striped skin. The waxy layer is typical and disappears (as do the green stripes) with longer storage. The fruits average 1.5 kg.
Pumpkins can be grown outdoors without any problems. The growing tips can be pruned regularly and are edible! Harvesting during dry weather gives the best shelf life. All pumpkins are edible! For some varieties, we list synonyms, which are the names by which the variety is also known. For other varieties, we list very similar types; if you have a clear preference for one of the varieties listed together, please indicate this clearly.
