What an enchanting variety! Chris Fowler and Matt Layton originated this beauty (around 2021); in addition to its unique color, this pepper has a pleasant, mild heat. The peach-colored fruits are adorned with red stripes and dots, like little lanterns!
Aside from this visual appeal, the Peppapeach Stripey offers a mild heat and a fruity flavor, making it ideal for adding a sweet and spicy kick to salads, salsas, and other dishes. The plants are very productive and provide a generous yield of these beautifully striped peppers throughout the growing season.
If overwintered in cool conditions and pruned, the plants can grow beautifully again the following year.
