Pepper 'Dundicut'

  • Product number: 208178

Actually, this is not a variety but a type. In Pakistan, descendants of Capsicum frutescens and C. annuum are called Dundicut or Lal Mirch. As long as the peppers are small! They are usually offered dried and are then as small as currants! Our Dundicut produces upright, teardrop-shaped fruits on quite tall plants: 150 cm. The taste is fresh, complex and very hot, comparable to Habaneros. This pepper is often used in parrot food; birds are not affected by the heat in peppers.
