Pepper 'Besler's Cherry'

  • Product number: 207905
  • Origin: South America
  • Latin: Capsicum annuum

The renowned botanist Basilius Besler (1561-1629) drew, among other things, this type of pepper: red, round with a slightly pointed tip. This variety originates from Brazil and is probably centuries old! The short and sturdy bushes yield a good harvest of sweet, rather hot peppers. Delicious for making a hot snack: fill them with cheese or tender meat! For the experienced eater, it's a delight to chop them into a salad.
