Beautiful lobed, flat fruits in a decorative two-tone, green in the center and yellow along the edge.
Patisson is the French name for a flat, elegant fruit, which closely resembles a flying saucer. The fruit is closely related to zucchini and tastes very similar. The intention is to harvest them (for consumption) when young to very young, when the skin still feels "squeaky". It is a real luxury to harvest them so young that the flower is still attached... Fried whole in oil, this makes a beautiful dish! To preserve the fruit for display, you should let it fully ripen on the (compact) plant. Enjoy this beauty!
