Passion fruit has a unique, pleasant taste: sweet and slightly bitter. The most successful and delicious fruits grow on this species (Passiflora edulis). Grow them in a greenhouse that you can keep just frost-free, or in a large pot that you can move to a frost-free location. They cannot tolerate night frost, but they do like to be cool and bright in winter. The beautiful white and purple flowers are self-pollinating, so fruit set is often successful!
