This is the golden-yellow version of the old green-red California Wonder variety, on the market since around 1920 and increasingly popular! It is a blocky (i.e., quite square) variety and yields a good harvest of sweet, mild-tasting fruits. The wall thickness is between thick and thin, and the size is between large and small. The fruits eventually ripen to an orange-yellow color. Cultivation in Northern Europe is very successful with this historic pepper, you can expect a good harvest!
