ORGANICALLY GROWN SEEDS!
Anyone driving past cornfields in the polders will almost always see fodder corn, a delicious treat for livestock. The farmer ensiles the cobs or chops the entire plant and uses it as feed throughout the winter. For the vegetable garden, this corn is an ideal windbreak; sow it a few rows thick and perhaps let a small pumpkin climb up it! A graceful sight, corn rivals many ornamental grasses, and the cobs are (though not edible) a beautiful orange-yellow color. For the florist, this corn is a welcome, strong addition to an autumn bouquet. Of course, the cobs can also be dried for years of enjoyment.
