A special variety of popcorn, which will of course mostly be used as ornamental corn. A benefit of popcorn is that it is gluten-free; Native Americans have been baking with this flour for centuries. The cobs display a beautiful range of colours, and the unique feature of this variety is the elegant tiger stripes on each kernel (see photo). The 2 m tall plants produce 1-2 cobs per plant, which ripen well in our climate. When the male tassels are ripe, shaking the plant occasionally helps with pollination.
