Red Cabbage 'Rovite' F1

  • Product number: 166620
  • Origin: Europe
  • Latin: Brassica oleracea

Spectacular red cabbage for summer and early autumn cultivation. In 4 months, this cabbage (if fertilized sufficiently) will grow into a record-breaking cabbage of 1-3 kg! Ideal for a large pot of stew or a beautiful, red sauerkraut. This variety is also suitable for overwintering.
A customer emailed us: with the Red Cabbage 'Rovite' F1, you really have a winner. I planted them 30x40cm apart, covered them against cabbage whites, and added some slug pellets and compost. The result is a beautiful harvest from mid-August of cabbages weighing about 1.5 kilos with a delicious mild taste. A recommendation that I will definitely want in my vegetable garden again next year.
