It was inevitable, this is a professional hybrid of the old type: more compact, more uniform, and more resistant to diseases (powdery mildew can strike). This is a cabbage that has been described in many recipes since the 18th century around Tuscany. Incidentally, this cabbage was already eaten in Roman times and is probably the ancestor of our kale. Many consider it the most beautiful stem cabbage with long dark to blue-green ribbed leaves. The leaves are narrow and evenly distributed along the stem (like a palm). Tender and very graceful, also very decorative in a pot! The plants are very frost-resistant.
