Since the 18th century, a type of cabbage has been cultivated around Tuscany for which many recipes have been described. Incidentally, this cabbage was already eaten in Roman times and is probably the ancestor of our kale. According to many, it is the most beautiful stem cabbage with long dark to blue-green ribbed leaves. The leaf is narrow and evenly distributed along the stem (like a palm). Deliciously tender and very graceful, also very decorative in a pot! The plants are very frost-resistant.
