This beautiful, regional variety from Sicily is deep purple in colour. After cooking, a green cauliflower remains. The line between cauliflower and broccoli is quite thin with this variety. Its unique flavour makes it worthy of cultivation in everyone's garden; Italians are known for their very authentic taste preferences for a reason! Early autumn cultivation (sowing from May-June) has the most success.
Cauliflower requires fertile, well-worked, and moisture-retaining soil. Plant out at 50 cm.
