Winter cauliflower, which has been entirely developed for cultivation under glass. Regular winter cauliflower ('Walcheren Winter') is intended for open ground and can sometimes fail (in the event of a harsh winter). If you own and use a greenhouse, this old variety produces too much foliage and flowers poorly. Eva has been specially developed for this purpose: a reliable cauliflower harvest from the greenhouse, which is sown, for example, in September-October and delivers the first Dutch cauliflower in January-May!
Our grower pointed out to us that if you sow this Winter Cauliflower in August, you can harvest a delicious fresh cauliflower around Christmas (from your greenhouse).
Cauliflower requires nutritious, well-worked, and moisture-retaining soil. Plant out at 50 cm.
