A unique white Asian cucumber. They taste great, are attractive, and very productive. Expect a uniform yield of sweet, crisp, bitter-free cucumbers with small seed cavities. The length ranges from 20-30 cm. Itachi is, of course, a star in salads, but for Asian cuisine, it's also true that they stand up well to cooking and are an excellent addition to all stir-fries. You can grow them in the open ground or (for even more beautiful fruits) in a greenhouse. The plants are Parthenocarpic, so the fruit develops without fertilization. NOTE: Exposure to direct sunlight can cause a light green color. Let the plant's canopy protect the fruits from the sun.
GENERAL INTRODUCTION TO CUCUMBERS:
Cucumbers, which produce long vines, can be pruned regularly. For outdoor cultivation (depending on the variety), a decent summer is needed, and all varieties grow well in a greenhouse. Sometimes it is advisable to let the plant grow outside if fruit set fails! Cucumbers are usually harvested unripe, unless the skin becomes particularly beautiful upon ripening. Unripe fruits are sliced and used raw in salads; ripe fruits can be scooped out like a melon. Many small cucumber varieties or (extremely) young harvested fruits are eaten as gherkins (pickled) or as a healthy snack with a drink or meal. Pay attention to the individual descriptions of our varieties and cultivars; some are for ornamental purposes only and are NOT edible!
