Garden Pea '(Laxton's) Progress No.9' / 'Karina'

  • Product number: 093900
  • Origin: Mediterranean, Europe
  • Latin: Pisum sativum

ORGANICALLY GROWN SEEDS! This is a prolific, extra sweet wrinkled pea, one of the earliest! Progress is now a heritage variety, but still (in hobby cultivation) one of the most beloved varieties in England and the US! The large harvest of dark green pods yield 8-10 peas, which children love to snack on raw... The plants grow compactly and are therefore also suitable for cultivation in containers and pots. The very good disease resistance is striking!

Tip: Sow this legume alternately with Gold of Pleasure (390900) for natural support.
