A rare, evergreen, climbing shrub with rather large leaves and small, very graceful, purple to dark red flowers. From these grow the very healthy, pleasantly sweet-sour, elongated fruits that develop in large clusters. This plant grows in the tropics, so it can only be outdoors here in the summer. You can find them in abundance in the forests of Southeast Asia, but as a potted plant, they are still little known, so it's time to discover and try out this special fruit plant!
