Blueberry, Canadian

  • Origin: North America, Eastern Canada and Northeastern United States
  • Latin: Vaccinium angustifolium

A delicious blueberry from the forests of Eastern Canada and Maine (USA), very popular with the local population for wild picking. Give them a spot with acidic soil in a semi-shaded location. The plant thrives very well where forests have burned, so regularly adding some wood ash as fertilizer will do them good!
