A rather rare Italian variety with a rich history! This bean combines a delicate flavour with beautiful, green and purple striped, stringless pods. After cooking, they turn back into plain green beans… The pods are remarkably wide (for a French bean): 13mm. The seeds are also decoratively coloured: beige with black stripes.
