Garter (Pole) 'Metro Black'
- Product number: 040305
- Origin: Tropical Africa
- Latin: Vigna unguiculata
This green, long Yardlong Bean (60-70 cm) is particularly popular in tropical countries! Not least because the plant can withstand a lot of heat. Here, cultivation outdoors is reasonably successful, but you need a sunny summer; it's better in a greenhouse. Pod setting is quite late because it is a short-day plant. Yardlong beans are delicious in all kinds of stir-fries; they are cut into pieces of about 5 cm. We sell a brown-red-seeded and a black-seeded variety; customer preference varies. This is the black-seeded, a climbing plant!
