Red and White Beetroot 'Chioggia Guardsmark' / 'Anello'

  • Product number: 022100
  • Origin: Mediterranean region
  • Latin: Beta vulgaris

Alf Christianson improved this beautiful historic Italian variety. Larger yield and universal colouring. Characteristics remain: remarkably sweet, round beets, which are strikingly coloured internally with white and pink rings. When thinly sliced raw, the beautiful colour is preserved. After cooking, the colour variation remains reasonably intact. Suitable for early and late cultivation.

Names:
Latin: Beta vulgaris
