Beautiful, robust plants that bloom magnificently in late autumn (or in the winter garden) with violet-pink flowers. The leaves are edible and have a fruity flavour reminiscent of peach, pineapple and grapefruit. They can withstand light frost, but nothing more, so: cool, frost-free and lightly protected over winter.
