A rare, old variety with a high aromatic content! The dark green, glossy leaf characterizes this variety, delicious for tea and in a sorbet!
Most mint (or munt) species of the genus Mentha grow in the sun or in the shade. In the sun, the most compact growth and the most intense color, scent, and taste develop. Each species goes through 2 growth stages: in spring, there is the growth spurt upwards for flowering. After that, horizontally (hard) growing runners emerge, which grow into new plants in another location. Bees and butterflies love mint flowers.
