A basil plant of unparalleled beauty and hardier than most other varieties. The leaves are fresh green and the white flowers bloom in sturdy, elongated clusters (like a Veronica) until September. The plants can be brought indoors when it cools down in September and overwinter reasonably well at temperatures above 5°C.
And let's not forget the taste: it is aromatic like Italian basil, but slightly spicier with a pleasant, sparkling aftertaste.
