(1756) The Chilean strawberry "Lucida Perfecta" was long considered lost. It is a very old and extremely rare strawberry variety. This variety is said to be a parent of "Frau Mieze Schindler". The strawberry is characterized by medium-sized, but very aromatic, sufficiently sweet, very fruity and juicy fruits. The fruits have a beautiful cream color. It is considered an absolute rarity by collectors. As the name suggests, the variety originally comes from South America. It copes well with dry soil, as the roots dig very deep into the ground. Furthermore, the variety is very robust.
Our strawberry collection partly consists of rare old varieties, which are only available in limited quantities. Therefore, the waiting time can be long. Annually in July, a new crop is potted by our grower, which is delivered in August-September. In April-May, we can replenish a part of this assortment. Please note that postage costs apply for any subsequent deliveries.
