Strawberry-Raspberry 'Framberry'

AVAILABLE FROM SEPTEMBER UNTIL STOCK LASTS.
A clever name for this Raspberry-Strawberry... The fruits are quite small and firm and have a bumpy texture due to the deep-set seeds. Oddly enough, besides the appearance of a raspberry, this also undeniably produces a light raspberry flavour! The delicate taste is unique and invites indulgence… enjoy it all the more because the harvest is not very large! Since this variety has very few to no stamens, another variety must always be nearby to ensure good pollination.
The name leads other sellers on the internet (who are not hindered by any plant knowledge) to describe it as a cross between strawberries and raspberries. However, this is botanically not possible, although both belong to the Rose family.

Our strawberry collection partly consists of rare old varieties, which are only available in limited quantities. Therefore, the waiting time can be long. Annually in July, our grower pots a new crop, which is delivered in August-September. In April-May, we can replenish part of this assortment. Please note that shipping costs may apply for any subsequent deliveries.
