Compact mulberry with a maximum height of 1.5–2 metres, ideal for pots or small gardens. This cultivar is a cross between the white and red mulberry, developed by Louis Gerardi in Illinois. It produces abundant dark purple fruit with a sweet and slightly ‘vinous’ flavour. Harvest from the second year, usually from June to August. Very hardy and highly resistant to diseases. Suitable for full sun and well-drained soil. Requires little maintenance and bears fruit quickly.
