A delicious orange-like fruit, 4 cm long, ovate or round (depending on the variety) with an edible orange or yellow peel (with Fukushi). The peel is sweet to pleasantly tart and the fruit is somewhat more tart. The plants have strong growth, only blooming at high temperatures. However, the plant can tolerate much lower temperatures than most citrus fruits, enduring down to -10°C. What is special (in addition to the well-known large amount of Vitamin C) is that the fruits also contain a lot of potassium and copper.
