One of the most famous white wine grapes, known from the French Burgundy region. Cultivation requires extra attention, otherwise the sugar content will not be reached. This means: do not cultivate too far north (yet) and thin out to 1 bunch per shoot. Protective spraying (e.g., organic sulfur spray) against mold. Harvest in October.
Growing grapes outdoors is the dream of many a garden owner, isn't it?! In contrast to the disappointing varieties 'Witte van der Laan' and 'Rembrandt', we offer a selection of tasty, mostly disease-resistant varieties, extensively tested in our climate.
Grapes can be susceptible to fungi, such as powdery mildew, downy mildew, botrytis, black spot, and red blotch disease. Some varieties are almost completely resistant, others have partial resistance or very high resistance to fungi. With a few sprays in the spring with organic agents (see our chapter on organic crop protection), these can be kept very healthy.
MOST VARIETIES CAN ONLY BE PURCHASED ONCE A YEAR (IN NOVEMBER OR MAY). DELIVERY TIME MAY THEREFORE BE LONG.
