This is an old, rare, local variety from the Ore Mountains. It is one of the darkest strawberry varieties, as the flesh turns a deep dark red. It is a late variety. The main ripening period is between July and August. Expect large fruits that are very aromatic!
Our strawberry collection consists partly of rare old varieties, which are only sporadically available. This means that the waiting time can be long. Annually in July, a new crop is potted by our grower, which is delivered in August-September. In April-May, we can supplement part of this assortment. Please note that there may be postage costs for any backorders?
