Oxheart Carrots

  • Product number: 328320
  • Origin: France
  • Latin: Daucus carota

With a little imagination, you can see a heart shape in these funny, blunt roots. You will rarely see such (relatively) wide carrots: 12-15 cm long and as much as 7-10 cm wide! This very tasty (sweet and mild) and long-lasting variety dates back to around 1887 and was developed in France, where it is also known as ‘Guerande’. This root grows successfully in the heaviest soil!
