(ca 1960) This late variety with highly aromatic, dark red fruits comes from Austria. From every region where strawberries have been cultivated for a few hundred years, some varieties persist, cultivated by enthusiasts. Fortunately so, as unique flavors like those of this strawberry are preserved!
Our strawberry collection partly consists of rare old varieties, which are only sporadically available. Each July, our grower pots a new crop, which is delivered in September. In April-May, we can replenish some of this assortment.
