Allium 'Gladiator'
- Product number: 734388.1
- Origin: Eurasia
- Latin: Allium
A unique giant, resulting from a (bee)cross between Allium christophii and Allium macleanii on Jan Bijl's trial fields. The bulbous flower head reaches a diameter of up to 20 cm and contains around 1,500 purple-violet flowers, growing 80–100 cm tall. Throughout June, this giant adds colour to the garden before drying gracefully for months to come… The leaves remain green during flowering, which is unique!
