A unique and highly potent variety from Louisiana that has been popular since 1824 due to pressure fermentation. Popular as a very special pipe tobacco for the true hobbyist who, like an artisan, can age the tobacco for at least one year under specific but achievable conditions.

Extremely suitable for pipes, but also for all other smoking methods, such as the peace pipe. Formerly popular as plum tobacco. Grows to a height of 180 cm with medium-sized leaves.
A “blend” (mixture) is created from several varieties in varying concentrations to achieve an interesting aroma.

Sowing method: February-April indoors at 20-25°C or outdoors in May (in a warm, shady spot). Always pre-sow in a seed tray. Sowing medium cocopeat with silver sand, sieve the top layer extra finely (kitchen sieve). Spread the seeds over the seedbed, press lightly and mist to moisten: it's a light germinator! Transplant in potting soil in good time to prevent growth stagnation. The plants can go outdoors in May, as soon as the weather becomes consistently warmer.
