Water spinach is popular in all tropical regions as a leafy vegetable for quick stir-frying or cooking. The leaves and tender stems are a delicious vegetable! This is a very successful variety in Dutch greenhouses! Green-leaved with green leaf veins and few thin tendrils. Cut 5 cm above the ground; the plant will quickly regrow for a subsequent harvest. This improved selection was developed in Thailand and is the market leader in the Far East.
