A beautiful combination: early harvestable yet with an intense flavour! The skin and cloves are white with some purple flames. Because you harvest early (May-June), you cannot store them all winter, so this is really an "eat-it-right-away" variety. The yield of this recent variety is remarkably good.
How delicious can also be beautiful... (or vice versa). This tasty member of the garlic family grows with 1 or more curls in the stem and is (therefore) particularly decorative. Spiral garlic is called hardneck garlic in English and is generally stronger in flavour than the so-called softneck varieties.
