This variety, discovered by Dean Slater, was named after his mother. It is the tastiest pear-shaped (sometimes olive-shaped), orange-yellow cherry tomato he had ever eaten. He found the rampant plants in 1998 at an old abandoned farm in Michigan in the USA. The fruits grow in wide clusters with dozens together.
Do you often grow your tomatoes in the same place, for example in a greenhouse? Then diseases can develop in the soil, to which rootstocks are resistant and where grafting is therefore recommended. For grafting tomatoes, you use this variety: 291110 Tomato ‘Landon’. As an aid, we recommend this grafting clip: 847520 Grafting clip 1.5 mm.
