A very pleasant and popular variety from Peru. Many of the red, elongated, medium-hot peppers grow on large, broad, and strongly branched plants. The variety can tolerate slightly cooler temperatures and can therefore be grown outdoors. The fruits are thin-walled and can be dried well to produce an aromatic chili powder that does not lose its fruity flavor, even after long-term storage.
