A hot Turkish pepper with long, very thin fruits. Ideally suited for growing in pots on the patio, balcony, or windowsill. The plant is highly decorative due to its beautiful fruits and does not grow taller than 50 cm. The fruits can grow up to 15-20 cm long, but are no wider than 1 cm. In July-August, a plant can easily bear 50 peppers. Perfect for use in hot dishes. Freezing or making your own sambal is, of course, also an option. The plant can easily be kept indoors through the winter (a cool spot in front of a sunny window, water sparingly, prune if necessary, and check carefully, especially for spider mites). The reward is an extra early harvest the following year. In Turkish tradition, the peppers are harvested GREEN, they ripen red and are then slightly sweeter.
