Mila van der Linden ❞Of course... we begrudge you those hours with a good book or "lounge around" watching an exciting film. I'm just giving you some ideas to keep your green fingers busy!

The room as a breeding groundMore and more people are enjoying growing indoors; in a bright spot, you can easily grow herbs and microgreens in a pot or on a mat. Harvest young and start again: wonderfully fresh and a beautiful and healthy addition to your dishes!
Growing sprouts (i.e., without soil or a mat) requires a bit more technique. We have a simple flushing device, the Bioset, and it works fantastically, but success depends on the regularity with which you flush the seeds. The fully automatic Vitaseed Sprout Drum, a small version of professional sprout drums, is ideal for this; success guaranteed, just take a look.

Light enoughFor indoor cultivation, light is essential, as I've mentioned before. In winter, the days are short, and behind a window, you already lose 50% of the light on the other side of that window. Light ensures that your plants (for example, your newly germinated seeds) become compact and sturdy. That's why too little light makes your plants tall and thin. We have a wide range of very good and energy-efficient plant lights in our assortment; take a look.

Waving goodbye! The past few weeks, I've been busy preparing for the next bulb season. Although I always love looking at all those beautiful tulips, daffodils, and other spring-flowering bulbs, it's always quite a lot of work! But it's done now, and I hope you'll be able to enjoy them to the fullest from September onwards.
Additionally, last week I harvested my onions and garlic, and I'm really proud of my red onions. Normally, we never have much luck with onions in the garden here, but this time it actually worked! Now I'm letting them dry, and soon I'll be enjoying them.
This weekend, I think I'll relax in front of a fan and maybe go to a swimming pool with some friends. Although I have a feeling that all of Dordrecht will be there too… So we'll see!
