Mila van der Linden ❞Of course... we'll grant you those hours with a good book or "couch-potatoing" in front of an exciting movie. I'm just giving you a few ideas to keep your fingers green!

The room as a breeding groundMore and more people are enjoying growing indoors; in a bright spot, you can easily grow herbs and microgreens in a pot or on a mat. Harvest young and start again: deliciously fresh and a beautiful and healthy addition to your dishes!
Growing sprouts (i.e., without soil or a mat) requires a bit more technique. We have a simple rinsing device, the Bioset, and it works fantastic, but success depends on the regularity with which you rinse the seeds. The fully automatic Vitaseed Sprouting Drum is ideal for this; it's a small version of professional sprouting drums, success guaranteed, just take a look.

Light enoughFor indoor cultivation, light is essential, as I've mentioned before. In winter, the days are short, and behind a window, you already lose 50% of the light on the other side of that window. Light ensures that your plants (for example, your newly germinating seeds) become compact and sturdy. That's why too little light makes your plants tall and thin. We have a wide range of very good plant lighting in our assortment, economical and effective, just take a look.

Wave goodbye! The past few weeks, I've been busy preparing for the next bulb season. Although I always love looking at all those beautiful tulips, daffodils, and other spring-flowering bulbs, it's always quite a lot of work! But it's done now, and I hope you can enjoy them to the fullest starting in September.
In addition, last week I harvested my onions and garlic, and I am really proud of my red onions. Normally, we never really have much luck with onions in the garden, but this time it actually worked out! Now I'm letting them dry, and soon I'll be enjoying them.
This weekend, I think I'll just lie on a fan and maybe go to a swimming pool with some friends. Although I have a feeling that all of Dordrecht will be there too… So, we'll see!
